Host a Text, Talk, Vote Event and Win

Register to host a Text, Talk, Vote (TTV) event from September 26 – October 2, 2016 and you could win $1,000 for your school, college or community organization!

Although Text, Talk, Vote is always “on” and available for use, the National Institute is hosting a nation-wide contest to encourage schools, community organizations, and national organizations to kickstart their civic engagement efforts.

Compete only against organizations like you.

Winners will be selected from each category:

  • Middle School/High School
  • Student Organization​ (College)
  • Community College or Small College (up to 4,000 students)
  • College or University (Over 4,000 students)
  • Non-Profit Organization or National Organization

Here's how you can enter.

  • Visit our website and register to host a contest.
  • Begin planning your event. Host people at a specific physical space, or integrate civic engagement work by dropping TTV into an existing event.
  • The week of the contest you will receive a unique “organizer code.” Give this organizer code to those who participate in your TTV events. Your participants will be prompted to enter the code during the program.
  • The organizer who gathers the most participants for their contestant category will win $1,000 for their school, college, or community organization!
